On January 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Ganga Vilas, which is the longest river cruise in the world. It arrived in Bangladeshi waters on February 4—21 days later. On February 21st, if everything goes according to plan, the cruise will be anchored in Pandu Port in Guwahati.
The cruise will approach Dhubri on the 41st day, which is February 18, according to information provided to G Plus by IWAI representatives headquartered in Pandu port. At Dhubri, the tourists’ immigration and customs checks will be completed. Guwahati can be reached from Dhubri in around 3 days. Goalpara, Sualkuchi, and Guwahati are all destinations for the cruise that will arrive between February 19 and 21. The passengers will receive a magnificent greeting from IWAI representatives as the ship is docked next to a floating jetty in Pandu.
