Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Guwahati as part of a two-day visit to Assam on May 9 and 10.
On the day of his arrival, the Home Minister will meet with the BSF and then inaugurate the Gauhati Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital and the National Forensic Sciences University in Guwahati.
Also, on behalf of President Ram Nath Kovind, Shah will present the President’s Colour Award to the Assam Police at an event in Guwahati on May 10.
In addition, the Minister will kick off a series of projects to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the BJP-led government in Assam.
