The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is converting old train cars that are unfit for use into eateries.
In Guwahati, two such restaurants will shortly open. The coach restaurants will have a place where you can buy meals, snacks, and drinks.
Katihar already has one of these coach restaurants operating, and New Jalpaiguri station will shortly have another one as well.
Additionally, plans for the construction of 15 more such coach eateries in various locations across the five divisions have also been finalized.
