The Central Government has increased the toll charges imposed on vehicles at toll plazas in several areas, effective April 1.

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to increase toll prices by 15%.

Several toll plazas in Assam, including the Sonapur Toll Gate, Raha Toll Gate, Doboka Toll Gate, and others, will now impose a higher toll cost as a result of the NHAI’s revised rates.

According to reports, the Sonapur Toll Gate in Nazirakhat would charge Rs 130 for a single ride on cars, vans, jeeps, and light motor vehicles, up from Rs 115 before, and the Raha Toll Gate will charge Rs 110.

From Friday onwards, the Doboka Toll Gate will charge Rs 90 for a single journey on cars, vans, jeeps, and light motor vehicles.

Meanwhile, toll fees for light goods vehicles, minibuses, and light commercial vehicles at the Sonapur Toll Gate have been raised from Rs 185 to Rs 205 for a single trip.
