Bhushan Kumar donated Rs. 11 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Assam’s flood-affected people.
Kumar is a well-known film and music producer, as well as the Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series (Super Cassettes Industries Limited).
Taking to Twitter, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude toward Bhushan Kumar. The chief minister, wrote, “Acknowledge with gratitude the contribution of ₹11 lakh to CMRF by Shri Bhushan Kumar, film & music producer and CMD of @TSeries, with Shri Rohit Shetty’s efforts.”
“I appreciate his concern for #AssamFloods. The donation will aid our fight against floods,” added CM Sarma.
Earlier, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and director Rohit Shetty had also extended a helping hand to flood-affected people in Assam and donated Rs 5 lakh to the CM Relief Fund.
