Guwahati Municipal Commission (GMC) has ordered shopping malls and cinema halls not to collect parking fees.
The authority stated that they made 431 parking slots free to use in Guwahati, whereas only 9 permitted parking places are allowed to collect parking fees.
People can complain to GMC if any parking places other than the 9 permitted ones charge parking fees. Whereas, shopping malls and cinema halls that comes under GMC should not charge any fees for parking.
