Assam State Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu issued a notification about the upcoming Class-10 HSLC/AHM Examinations, which will be held by the Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA).
The notification stated, “the forthcoming theory examinations of HSLC/AHM will be conducted using the Question Papers and the Answer Booklets printed in the year 2021.”
This is because SEBA did not conduct HSLC/AHM examinations in 2021, due to COVID-19.
Hence, according to the SEBA, the Question Papers and Answer Booklets for the year 2021 will be “re-used” in order to avoid the waste of natural resources.
According to the notification, the Question Paper for the 2021 examination was prepared based on the previous notification issued on September 2, 2021.
According to that notification, HSLC/AHM exams will be based on the syllabus with a 40 per cent reduction.
The exams are scheduled to begin on March 15.
