Today in Guwahati’s Lachit Nagar, another shocking daylight theft occurred. Two bike-riding crooks allegedly stole Rs. 3 lakhs.
The entire heist incident was captured on video surveillance. This happened in front of the KFC in Lachit Nagar.
According to reports, the two criminals were riding a motorcycle and took the money from people who were holding it.
The Indane – Nabajyoti Gas Agency in Guwahati was the possessor of this substantial sum of money. Two employees of the agency were carrying the funds to be deposited at the bank.
Employees have stated that they are taking the money to the Bank of Baroda. The stolen money was scheduled to be deposited in the bank.
The case has been reported to the Paltanbazar police station, and an FIR has been lodged. The investigation is currently underway.
