Guwahati residents are complaining about a sudden increase in mosquitoes in the city. They are pleading with the officials to begin fogging as soon as possible and expressing their frustrations.
Several people expressed their dissatisfaction with Guwahati Municipal Corporation for not taking any action.
One user addressing the issue wrote on Twitter, “Has anyone noticed sudden rise of mosquitoes in the city, no sign of pest control, please start fogging, getting extremely difficult to ride or sit outside just for a minute.”
Another user, who agrees with the matter, wrote, “Yes, some steps should be taken. These mosquitoes are immune to all kinds of repellents present in the market.”
Another user questioning the authorities, wrote, “They will come with their smokes & nets, once dengue spreads, some people suffer some dies, no remedies in advance?”
