Assam Police Special DGP GP Singh appealed to the public to keep Guwahati’s Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre “pristine.” He shared images of the property being desecrated and trash littered around the campus.
The DGP posted two images from the Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre on Twitter, one of a broken chair and the other of used paper glasses thrown on the ground.
He wrote, “Visited Heritage Bungalow at Panbazar Guwahati this evening. Unfortunate images of some people having broken the chair and thrown used glasses here & there. Friends, it’s ours. Let’s keep it pristine.”
