Bollywood actress Preity Zinta recently visited the Kamakhya Devi temple in Guwahati and was left awestruck by the powerful vibrations and sense of peace she experienced at the temple.
However, the actress also complained about the terrible traffic in the city, which took her two hours to reach the temple and another hour to reach the stadium for a game she was attending.
Zinta’s flight to Guwahati was also delayed for several hours, causing her to lose sleep, but she stated that the trip was worth it for the spiritual experience at the temple. Despite missing half of the game due to traffic, Zinta expressed no complaints as the visit to the temple was her main purpose for the trip.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote, “One of my reasons to go to Guwahati was to visit d famous Kamakhya Devi temple.Even though our flight was delayed for several hours & I was up all night,it all seemed worth it once I entered the temple. I felt such powerful vibrations when I went there & a sense of peace n calm.”
“Traffic was terrible. Took us 2 hours to the temple & 2 hours back then another hour to the stadium for the game. I missed half the game but no complaints. I made the trip for the temple. Game was incidental,” she added.
