In the recently published National Multi-dimensional Poverty Index 2023 by NITI Aayog, Assam’s poverty reduction efforts have yielded remarkable results with a significant 13.3% decrease in poverty.
The credit goes to the relentless implementation of various welfare schemes by the Government of Assam, aimed at uplifting the living conditions of the underprivileged.
