Mr Rameswar Teli, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, was embarrassed as a porn video was played during a pilot rollout event on Saturday.
The event was hosted at the Mirana Hotel in Tinsukia.
A pornographic clip began playing on the LCD screen during an Indian Oil official’s speech at the pilot rollout event, according to reports.
Undoubtedly, the situation embarrassed the minister, who promptly launched an investigation into the matter.
After the occurrence, Rameswar Teli said, “I was hearing the speech of the IOC chairman and it was only after someone else told me about it that I came to know about it. I have already directed the Tinsukia DC to conduct an inquiry.”
Meanwhile, Assam police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and hardware from the event has been seized.
On Saturday, Indian Oil launched its brand new M15 Petrol (15 percent Methanol with Petrol) in Assam’s Tinsukia district.
