The popular online game “Shadow Fight 2” held a Bihu event to advertise itself on the occasion of Rongali Bihu.
In the graphics of the event, the game’s character was depicted wearing ‘Mekhela Sador’ and ‘Kharu,’ in an Assamese field with elephants and mountains in the background.
The title of the event announced, “A great celebration is upon us! Are you in warrior? Bihu Festival begins soon.”
“The world is full of strange, evil, and frightening creatures. When the sun sets, these beasts crawl out to hunt,” said the popular game’s event.
It added, “On the eve of the great spring celebration, the inhabitants of a small village are forced to stop their preparations for the feast, and hide in their homes.”
It further stated, “An unknown and hungry being came to these lands! It is devouring the crops and assaulting the lone travelers! Only Shadow can pacify the monster and banish this spawn back to the world of darkness…”
Bohag Bihu or Rongali Bihu is a harvest festival celebrated in Assam and it marks the end of the harvesting season in the region.

Shadow Fight 2 is a role-playing fighting game developed by Russian Cyprus-based developer Nekki. It is the second installment in the Shadow Fight series and was soft-launched on October 22, 2013.
