The North East India Petroleum Dealers’ Association has announced that it will shut down Guwahati’s petrol pumps from 5 a.m. on May 13 to 5 a.m. on May 14 to protest oil companies’ failure to pay dues.
The Association also claims that oil companies have engaged in illegal trade practices that are contrary to established standards.
The Association has also stated that if oil companies fail to comply and meet their demand by May 15, the Association would close petrol pumps indefinitely beginning at 5 a.m. on May 16.
