The price of petrol and diesel in Guwahati was raised by another 80 paise per litre on Wednesday.
Petrol has now surpassed the 100-rupee mark as a result of the city’s price hikes.
Petrol costs Rs 100.78 per litre in Guwahati as of March 30, while diesel costs Rs 86.03.
Since March 22, oil companies have continued to raise the price of petrol and diesel.
The effects of the increase in fuel prices are due to the rising price of international crude oil as a result of the ongoing Ukraine-Russian conflict.
