Paytm, a digital payment platform, has collected Rs 32,80,623 in donations for the CM Relief Fund for flood victims of Assam.
The amount was raised from the users of Paytm and the cheque was handed over to Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday.
Taking to Twitter, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude towards them. The chief minister tweeted, “My sincere gratitude to Shri @vijayshekhar of @Paytm for contributing ₹32,80,623 to CM Relief Fund in aid of flood victims in Assam.”
The tweet added, “The amount was raised from its subscribers and the cheque handed over to me by Shri Abhay Sharma of Paytm.”
