Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that people in Assam will have the opportunity to watch the Bihu performance during the Grand Bihu celebrations in Guwahati on April 14. In a press meeting, Sarma stated that anyone who wishes to see the performers live can do so.
The Sarusajai Stadium will be available for people to watch rehearsals from April 11-13, with the dress rehearsals taking place from 9 AM until the evening. People can witness the performance from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. For those interested in watching the actual program on April 14, passes will be available from April 11 at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.
Over 11,000 artists from all districts of Assam will perform together at Guwahati’s Sarusajai Stadium on April 14 and will attempt to set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records. The performers from across the state will arrive in Guwahati on April 10 and will be accommodated in various hotels in the city by the Kamrup Metropolitan District Administration.
