In the Women’s Premier League auction conducted in Mumbai on Monday, the Mumbai Indians purchased the young cricketer from Assam, Jintimani Kalita, for Rs 10 lakh.
Jintimani entered the auction with a starting bid of Rs. 10 lakh, and Mumbai Indians bought her for that amount.
