Meiningsinliu Pamei, the 10-year-old girl whose images of her babysitting her toddler brother went viral, has been admitted to Slopeland Public School in Khongjom, Thoubal district.
Manipur Minister for Power, Forest and Environment, Thongam Biswajit Singh shared the news on Tuesday. He tweeted, “Join me to wish #MeiningsinliuPamei good luck for her future endeavours!”
His tweet added, “As promised, I have arranged her boarding schooling in Slopeland Public School, Imphal. I wish her to come off with flying colours.”
Last month, a video of her attending Dailong primary school while babysitting her toddler brother went viral, catapulting the 10-year-old girl from Tamenglong district into the spotlight.
On social media, she grabbed the hearts of people and was spotted by Minister Biswajit and Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
Then, the minister Thongam Biswajit Singh committed to taking care of Meiningsinliu’s education until she graduated.
