Assamese woman Kaveri Bharali has made history by becoming the first from her state to feature on the NASDAQ board in Times Square, New York.
Kaveri and her team, who work for a US-based tech company, were featured on April 1 and 2 for their outstanding work in shaping the internet for billions of people worldwide.
The team, which started with only five members from India and 25 from other countries, has now grown to over 200 employees across 125 countries. The NASDAQ board is a highly prestigious platform for recognising exceptional achievements. Kaveri expressed her gratitude to her company and stated that the recognition was a result of their hard work.
