Assam’s capital city of Guwahati will welcome the arrival of BJP national president JP Nadda and Union home minister Amit Shah on October 8, the Assam BJP informed this in a statement.
In Guwahati, during a substantial party meeting, both leaders will speak to BJP members and leaders from Assam.
The number of BJP leaders and workers expected at this meeting in Assam is estimated to be over 40,000.
In Guwahati’s Khanapara area, the BJP meeting will take place at the Veterinary Playground.
In the meantime, the Assam BJP has denied media reports that the party’s state leadership may be changing.
