Ingrid Ilgine, one of the top models of the world, walked the red carpet of Cannes 2022 wearing an outfit by an Assamese designer named Sanjukta Dutta.
The famous model wore a crimson thigh-high slit dress with a rear ruffled trail. The outfit is an Assamese Silk attire designed by Assamese designer Sanjukta Dutta.
Sanjukta Dutta shared the news on Facebook.
“So so happy, my design… made of mulberry silk is on the Red carpet of CANNES FILM FESTIVAL… thanks Ingrinda UK’s top model for choosing my design and for supporting Assam handloom industry, yes one more step nearer to my dream to make Assam silk popular all over the world, thanks everyone 🙏🙏 for your blessings always,” she wrote.
Notably, Ilgine had already debuted in Sanjukta Dutta’s creation at the Cannes Film Festival 2019.
The 75th Cannes Film Festival, one of the year’s most anticipated events, began on May 17. This year’s Country of Honour is India, making the festival even more special for Indian fans.
