Dispur MLA Atul Bora on Friday made a humorous comment on the state’s rising pricing of commodities, urging people to buy fewer products and consume less to battle inflation.

The MLA said that sellers are now selling infected veggies in the market and that people should cease eating vegetables from the market.

The BJP legislator stated that he had quit eating tainted market veggies and had begun producing crops in his own backyard.

“When the price of a commodity rises dramatically in the market, people should stop consuming it. When prices rise, I recommend beginning to consume less. I no longer consume vegetables from the market and only eat vegetables grown in my own backyard,” said Bora while speaking to the media.
