All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) met with the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) to discuss the announcement of HSLC examination results on Tuesday.

The meeting took place at the SEBA office in Guwahati’s Bamunimaidam. AASU urged that the HSLC results be released as soon as possible during the meeting.

It should be mentioned that the examination results were supposed to be released on May 30. However, SEBA authorities stated that the rectification of exam papers had not yet been completed, causing a delay in the announcement of results.

Representatives from AASU met with SEBA Secretary N N Nath to discuss the situation. They demanded that the results be announced no later than June 5.

In the meantime, SEBA has agreed to the demands and stated that the HSLC results will be released by June 5. Due to the ongoing Gunotsav in Assam, they said there was a delay in checking the answer scripts.

Following the discussion at the SEBA office, AASU leaders went to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) to discuss the declaration of Higher Secondary (HS) results.

They spoke with the secretary of the AHSEC and inquired as to why the HS results had been delayed.

The HS results will be released by June 20th, stated AHSEC.
