The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma was rated the most popular among the leaders who won the Assembly elections in May 2021.
The most popular chief ministers, according to the IANS-CVoter poll, are Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan, followed by Tamil Nadu’s M.K. Stalin.
During the survey, the respondents were asked to rank their state’s chief ministers according to their performance.
In Assam, more than 43% of respondents stated they were very much satisfied with Himanta Biswa Sarma’s performance, while more than 41% said the same in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee received 39% in the “very satisfied” category.
