Assam Government will not release a new SOP for Saraswati Puja, however, rainfall could be a concern for Assamese people during the state’s celebration of Saraswati Puja, as the Guwahati Regional Meteorological Centre forecasts heavy rainfall on the day of Saraswati Puja.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre of Guwahati, Rainfall is likely to be less in the northeastern states on 2-3 February, likely to increase on 4-5 and decrease thereafter.
Saraswati Puja, which is celebrated on Vasant Panchami every year, will take place on 5th February, this year.
