On Tuesday night, a man was discovered laying on the street side in the Hengrabari area of Ganeshguri, Guwahati.
Passersby discovered the person sitting motionless on the side of the road and brought him to the hospital.
They organised for a rickshaw puller to transport him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
The deceased has been identified as, Dipankar Bora, a resident of Guwahati’s Maniknagar area.
The deceased was seen wearing a Swiggy uniform, implying that he worked as a food delivery agent for the company.
Meanwhile, the cause of death is still unknown and will be determined after an autopsy is performed.
The incident has been reported to the local police, who have launched an inquiry.
