Guwahati is gearing up to host an exciting T20 match between India and Australia on November 28, as part of the International Home Season 2023-24. The much-awaited clash will take place at the Barsapara Stadium, with the match scheduled to kick off at 7:00 PM.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently unveiled the fixtures for the upcoming home season, which will see the Senior Men’s team engaging in a series of 16 international matches. The action-packed schedule includes 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 8 T20Is, promising an enthralling cricketing extravaganza.
The cricketing bonanza will commence with India hosting Australia for a thrilling three-match ODI series, set to be held in Mohali, Indore, and Rajkot starting from September 22. Following the highly-anticipated 50-over World Cup, India will take on Australia in a riveting five-match T20I series, which begins on November 23 in Vizag, November 26 in Trivandrum, and culminates with the match in Guwahati on November 28. The T20 action will further continue with matches in Nagpur and Hyderabad, concluding on December 3.
In January 2024, India will welcome Afghanistan for their inaugural white-ball bilateral tour, featuring a three-match T20I series in Mohali and Indore, with the final match scheduled to take place in Bengaluru.
Subsequently, India will lock horns with England in a gripping five-match Test series, commencing on January 25, 2024. The exciting Test matches will be played in Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala, promising a riveting contest between the two cricketing giants.
