According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati, the minimum temperature on Thursday, February 3 was 6.8 degrees Celsius, which is 5 degrees lower than normal.
According to the centre, this is the eighth-lowest temperature ever recorded in Guwahati in February since 1969. And the joint-lowest temperature in Guwahati in February since 1984.
