Assam Minister of Irrigation Ashok Singhal on Saturday inaugurated a parking lot on the land of Assam State Textbook Production & Publication Corporation Ltd in Panbazar for public convenience.
The parking lot is constructed by Guwahati Metro Development Authority (GMDA) at a cost of Rs. 96.80 lakh.
The parking lot can accommodate around 120 four-wheelers and 50 two-wheelers, and water and sanitary facilities have also been provided.
The inauguration was attended by GMDA Chairman Shri Narayan Deka, Guwahati Municipal Corporation Mayor Shri Mrigen Sarania, and other department officials.
