An alternative road connecting Pandu Ghat and Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati will be built, and the market value of the land needed for its acquisition has been set at Rs 25 lakh per katha.
The decision was reached during the Thursday Cabinet Meeting, which was presided over by Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam.
