On Thursday afternoon, a girl’s body was discovered hanging at the house of her alleged boyfriend in Dispur’s Last Gate area.
According to reports, the girl identified as Pompi Das had been living with her alleged boyfriend, an astrologer, Leela Madhab Saikia, for the previous three years.
The girl’s home is in Guwahati’s Bishnupur area. The death has been labelled as murder by the girl’s family.
The matter is being investigated by the Dispur Police Department.
