Kudos to their friends, who not only help them create this contract but also compelled the newlyweds to sign it in front of everyone.
This is the story of Mintu and Shanti, who were married late last month in Guwahati’s Paltan bazaar. They were prompted to sign a contract document shortly after being married.
The agreement was made to reduce arguments over “little things” that frequently arise in relationships. The key aspects in it included agreeing on one pizza each month for both sides, accepting home-cooked meals, donning sarees, allowing late-night parties but “only with me,” going to the gym daily, preparing Sunday breakfast, taking good pictures at every party, and going shopping every 15 days.
