Soon, the city of Guwahati will be expanded. On Thursday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made this announcement.
The Guwahati city will expand until Jagiroad in the east while reaching as far as Palashbari in the west.
The chief minister declared that Guwahati will connect to both Jagiroad and Palashbari with eight-lane highways.
“We will also build an 8-lane super highway between Guwahati and Jagiroad,” he said.
