A black tea flavour has been named after President Zelenskyy of Ukraine by an Assam entrepreneur.
‘Zelenskyy’ – a blend of strong Assam – is a black tea with a powerful character and malty flavour that promises to be as strong as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, says the entrepreneur.
Ranjit Baruah of Aromica Tea, has created Zelenskyy tea in honour of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He used Orthodox tea for the flavour, while CTC was used for the strength. He had spent two decades in the tea industry.
Tender Buds Teas and Crafts Pvt Ltd, based in Guwahati, owns the Aromica brand. More than 40 varieties of value-added teas are currently available from the company.
