Making their presence on national television, four kids from Guwahati has made it to the top 15 of Dance Deewane Juniors, an Indian reality dance competition.

Two of the children are competing individually and two are competing in groups.

In the solo dancing category, Arnav Talukdar, a 10-year-old from the Zoo Road area, was selected. Runjuna Das, who lives near the Guwahati airport, was also selected.

Arnav’s mother, Lopa Talukdar, told G Plus, “After a lot of hardships Arnav has reached this stage. It is all because of the support of his dance gurus that he has made it to the top 15. After my husband’s death in 2021 due to COVID-19, life has been very difficult for us, personally and financially. We have somehow managed to keep it going. His teachers have been of great support, they have not even taken fees for the last year.”

Meanwhile, Sprihaa Hrishi Kashyap and Barbie Roy are two girls who have made it to the top in the dance show in the group category. They are among four members of the ‘C company’ group.

Arnav is trained by Faruk Ahmed Khan, Xuraj Nath, and Tarak Saha, while Sprihaa and Runjuna are trained by the Dilip Dance Academy.

Neetu Singh, Marzi Pestonji, and Nora Fatehi are judges on the popular dance show Dance Deewane Junior 2022, which is hosted by popular actor Karan Kundra.

Colors TV will broadcast the top 15 juniors on May 14 and 15 at 9 p.m.
