In yet another crime in Guwahati, a commercial passenger vehicle driver stabbed the handyman on Tuesday morning over a trivial dispute.
The incident occurred in Beharbari, which is under the jurisdiction of the Basistha police station.
According to reports, after a fight with the handyman Bokul Medhi, the driver Sanjiv Bora stabbed him for allegedly verbally abusing him.
According to Dimpal Gayari, officer-in-charge of the Basistha PS, no case has been filed in this regard yet.
Although the cause of the quarrel is unclear, eyewitnesses claim that the fight began over a passenger.
Meanwhile, the handyman is being treated in a hospital.
