A man riding a bicycle near Assam’s Kaziranga National Park narrowly escaped a leopard attack.
The whole episode was caught on CCTV. On the side of the Haldhibari cattle corridor, a giant leopard attacked the cyclist, but he was able to flee as the beast jumped at him and quickly returned to the bush.
Ramesh Kumar Gogoi, the District Forest Officer (DFO) of Kaziranga National Park, has urged commuters not to halt vehicles in the area for their own safety. He urged everyone to be cautious.
