Director of the Assamese superhit film ‘Local Utpaat,’ Kenny Basumatary and his teammates donated their movie costumes to the people of Dima Hasao who had been devastated by the recent disaster.
The news was shared on social media by Daniel Langthasa, a member of Dima Hasao district’s North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council.
Sharing the news along with the images, Daniel Langthasa wrote, “Thank you so much Kenny Basumatary and the #LocalUtpaat team for donating the superhit movie’s costumes which are in mint condition for the disaster affected people in Dima Hasao.”
“Sending love and blessings back from Dima Hasao for your kind gesture and wishing the movie and it’s team more success!” he added with a folded hands and heart emoji.
