Due to the closure of the mills, workers of Hindustan Paper Corporation (HPC) have gone through a lot of financial hardship.
In view of this, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced a financial package of Rs 500 crore for Hindustan paper corporation employees.
Assam Government will release a financial package of Rs 500 crore to HPC workers by June 30 to provide relief to the workers and reward their years of hard work.
