The revised city bus fare in Guwahati has received approval from the District Transport Office (DTO) and will go into effect right away.
In Guwahati, the minimum and maximum city bus fares have been set at Rs 10 and Rs 30, respectively.
Up to 5 kilometers, the new bus fare is Rs 10, for 5 to 9 kilometers, Rs 15, 9 to 13 kilometers, Rs 18, 13 to 21 kilometers, Rs 26, and 21 to 25 kilometers, Rs 30.
The price will rise to one rupee per kilometer after 25 kilometers.
