The Exam To Be Conducted In 13 Regional Languages, Including Assamese, For The First Time
For the first time, the Constable (GD) examination for recruitment in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will be conducted in 13 regional languages, including Assamese, a historic decision aimed at increasing local youth participation.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) made the announcement to promote regional languages.
Scheduled from February 20 to March 7, 2024, the exam will host around 48 lakh candidates across 128 cities nationwide. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and MHA signed an MoU, facilitating the inclusion of regional languages, providing equal employment opportunities for candidates throughout the country.
