Candidates who do not qualify for the Direct Recruitment Exam for Grade III and IV posts will have their examination fees refunded.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced this at the “Mann Ki Baat” radio broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Guwahati’s Azar on Sunday.
Regarding the exam’s results, Chief Minister Sarma said that they will, if at all feasible, be released within a month.
While speaking to the media at Guwahati, the Chief Minister said, “The tests are being conducted without a problem at all examination centers in the state. No complaints of exam-related misconduct have been reported.”
He added, “We will try to announce the results within one month. And candidates who fail to qualify for the exams will get back their fees. The fees will be returned to their respective bank accounts.”
“We will keep the fees of only those candidates who qualify for the exam,” added CM Sarma.
