Nalbari’s Bidyasagar Talukdar has brought great pride to Assam by securing an impressive second position in the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) Indian Information Service (IIS) examination. Hailing from Tihu’s Piplibari village, Talukdar’s remarkable achievement was attained in the Assamese language category.

Adding to the state’s glory, Anumita Das from Assam has also showcased exceptional performance, clinching the 14th spot in the UPSC’s IIS examination.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently announced the results of the highly anticipated Indian Information Service (IIS) examination. Aspiring candidates who participated in the exam can now access and obtain their results directly from the official website – upsc.gov.in.

Impressively, the 29 candidates who secured their positions in the IIS examination belong to diverse linguistic backgrounds, further highlighting the inclusiveness of the selection process.
