Assam’s Prapti Medhi becomes the first and only person from Assam and Northeast to win a silver medal in the ongoing 59th National Roller Skating Championships conducted by the Roller Skating Federation of India.
Prapti Medhi secured the second position in the 500 meters ring race by competing in the race with a time duration of 56.62 seconds.
She successfully became the first skater to win a silver medal from Eastern India. She is also the first and only skater from North East India to have secured a medal at the national-level skating championships.
Currently, the national championships are underway in Delhi, Mohali, and Chandigarh from 11 to 22 December 2021.
