Adil Hussain has been included in the Forbes’ list of “8 Outstanding Actors” of Hindi Entertainment in 2021, for his performance in the Akshay Kumar starrer Bollywood film, Bell Bottom.
Forbes remarked in its article speaking of Adil Hussain’s role in the Akshay Kumar starrer Bollywood film Bell Bottom, “In a movie that is all about larger-than-life heroism, it is not easy for non-central characters to grab attention. When the central character is essayed by Akshay Kumar, the task becomes tougher.”
The article added, “Adil Hussain, however makes that possible, and how! He has essayed the role of the chief of the Indian intelligence agency in Bell Bottom and does it like he owns the film. His character walks a thin line and Hussain performs it with much elegance. He has two National Film awards to his credit.”
The other seven actors who made it to the Forbes’ list are Ashutosh Rana, Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, Jimmy Shergill, Sikander Kher, Manav Kaul, and Amruta Subhash.
