In the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023, 10 teams have shortlisted a 23-year-old baller from Dibrugarh in Assam for the auction.
Notably, Mukhtar Hussain of Dibrugarh has been chosen from among the 999 players who have enrolled for the IPL’s 2023 season.
Round-baller Mukhtar has excelled in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Mukhtar’s name is currently in the IPL’s action list at the base price of 20 lakh.
Out of the 405 players, 273 are Indians and 132 are foreign cricketers, including 4 players from associate countries. There are 119 players on the list of all capped players, while there are 282 uncapped players and 4 players from associate countries.
