To provide the best critical care to stray and pet animals, Assam Government has decided to open four new veterinary hospitals in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Tezpur and Golaghat.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, while reviewing the progress of the process with the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, on Wednesday, January 12, directed the department to ensure adequate treatments and response to the health of stray and pet animals in the state.

Speaking about the same Chief Minister Sarma tweeted, “To provide best critical care to stray and pet animals, we are setting up 4 state-of-the-art veterinary hospitals in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Tezpur and Golaghat. Reviewed progress of the process with Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Dept and assured fulfillment of all requirements.”
