The Assam Police in coordination with Dubai Police recovered a stolen heritage watch belonging to football legend Late Diego Maradona in Sivasagar on Saturday, December 11.
The police arrested one Wazid Hussein in regard to this matter based on the input shared by Special DGP of Assam, GP Singh.
A follow-up and lawful action is being taken by the Police.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informing about the news tweeted, “In an act of international cooperation @assampolice has coordinated with @dubaipoliceHQ through Indian federal LEA to recover a heritage @Hublot watch belonging to legendary footballer Late Diego Maradona and arrested one Wazid Hussein. Follow up lawful action is being taken.”
